How do they use Logos?
Anzaldúa narrates her stories by using logos to reason with her audience. The way she uses logos by giving the reader true life stories and stories that exist supports her key points in her book. "Some of these film-like narratives I write down; most are lost, forgotten. When I don't write the images down for several days or weeks or months, I get physically ill" (Anzaldúa 92).
Davis uses logos in her stories to make the audience think about the historical events she mentioned. Logos is also a way to express her viewpoints of the powerful and influential incidents in her life. "... He also represented Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and thousands of others during Birmingham's civil rights protests of the 1960s" (Davis 5).
